Digital Silk Road

Digital Silk Road Center opens in Xi’an, China

In May 2021 the Chinese offices of the Digital Silk Road center started operating in Xi’an, the sister city of Gyumri, fostering Digital Pomegranate’s new direction of growth in the Chinese market.

The Digital Silk Road center aims at linking the West with China through technology created in Armenia just as the ancient Silk Road connected different cultures, having Armenia as a crossroad of significant importance.

The first center of Digital Silk road, which currently operates at Digital Pomegranate’s main offices in Gyumri, Armenia, will be located in the Distrikt as one of the first startups of the techno/eco community.

At the Digital Silk Road center we are teaching the Chinese language and business culture in Gyumri to create jobs for the locals through technology export to China and the rest of the world.

The technology created at Digital Silk road includes WeChat and Alibaba & Alipay mini apps which are the shortest and most effective way for the Western companies to reach out their Chinese customers through e-commerce, digital coupons, card vouchers, WeChat store and much more.

Entering the Chinese Market

Brands and companies cannot survive without tailor-made tech solutions in the modern Chinese society with a  hybrid lifestyle across physical and digital. Entering the Chinese market sometimes completely detached from most other economies in the world is a challenge for foreign companies and the number one step to be taken is to establish a powerful digital presence to be able to leverage the Chinese social media.

At Digital Silk Road Center the professional team of developers and designers will offer technology driven tools to enter the Chinese market and have sales via Chinese Digital Channels Such as Wechat (Wēixìn 微信), Tmall (Tiān Māo,天猫), Little Red Book (xiǎohóngshū, 小红书) and more.
